Argentinian Staycation

I don't know about you, but in my opinion, staycations are totally underrated. Getting out of town can be super fun, but sometimes just staying in a different part of town can be just as refreshing.

For a long weekend in Cordoba, my lovely roomie and I decided to splurge on a private room at one of the top rated hostels in the world. I had randomly come across this hostel on the hostelworld blog and since we were just a 20 minute drive away, we decided a mini staycation was in store for us.

We had no air conditioning in our apartment, we were cohabitating with cockroaches, and needed a break from our college-town vibe neighborhood for a couple of days, and boy were we pleasantly surprised!

Each morning they served breakfast on this beautiful bar with a full spread of Argentinian pastries, fresh juice, and, of course, coffee.

Onas Hostel & Suites in Cordoba has easily become one of my favorite hostels in the world! It's a brand new, beautifully designed, air conditioned, includes a great breakfast spread and is full of instagramable corners. Not to mention, it’s located near some great restaurants and beer gardens which was a very pleasant surprise! And unsurprisingly, the staff was absolutely lovely!

Reception

Beautiful outdoor area complete with a pool (and not pictured barbecue).

Stylish and comfortable lounge area.

...and another lounge area

Cordoba is a gateway to the Sierra Mountains which has some great hiking and the city as a whole has a much more laid back pace of life compared to Buenos Aires. It's also home to some of the most friendly people I've ever met! Definitely worth a visit and highly recommend staying at Onas Hostel & Suites!

Besos xx
